John Huot and his wife Angela have been Rosemount residents since 2002. John was raised in Cottage Grove, the youngest of seven children.
After attending Winona State, John started working in the Emergency Room at Ramsey County Medical Center (now Regions Hospital) in 1983 as an orderly. He began his work as a Firefighter and EMT volunteer in 1987 with Maplewood Fire Department, and received his Firefighter/EMT certification in 1988.
In 1988 he began working for Life Link III, a non-profit consortium providing air and ground transportation for critically ill and injured patients. Over the next 26 years, John served in multiple roles at the company, including EMT, Educator, Business Development Specialist and Government Relations Manager.
Active in the community, John has spent 12 years as a youth football and basketball coach and has been a Minnesota State High School League basketball and football referee for 20 years.
He and his wife have been married for 25 years and have 3 boys, Andrew, Alex and Adam. They are parishioners at St. Thomas Becket and John is attending the Harry Flynn Catechetical Institute, discerning the Deaconate.
Currently, he is a Realtor with Bridge Realty.
